Jump higher, Spin faster, Work harder

Hi and welcome to the official fanpage for Dani Alyssa Loonstra. Born on the 31st of December 2004, I am now 12 years of age and I am a figureskater. I consider myself fortunate in the fact that I, after hard work, dedication and a lot of support, I have received the Olympic Promisse status from the NOC-NSF. This status allows me to seriously focus on my sports carreer, serious because I have the ambition to reach the top in figureskating. It is our aim to reach this goal with the whole of my support team in smaller steps. During the 2014-2015 I won the KNSB-Cup final in the Teens A category. The following season, 2015 - 2016, I compete in the Basic Novice A Category, the first official ISU recognized category, allowing me to compete in great International competitions. During this season I ended up third in the Nationals. Last season was my first Advanced Novice season as I was to young to progress the year before, in the Nationals I finished second that year, it was a great year also because of the full week of Camp I was allowed to attend in Andorra with Brian Orser and Javier Fernandez, a steep learning curve and a great experience. This season I will work hard to improve on last years performance in the same Advanced Novice Category with focus on International Competitions such as the Diamond Trophy in Antwerp, the Ice Challenge in Graz and the Sanata Claus Cup in Budapest.
